Clinical Lab Supervisor- FT evening

Overview Job SummaryPerforms a variety of phlebotomy procedures, including specialized collections and processes, assuring rapid and accurate results.
Provides direct supervision to technologists, technicians, and laboratory assistants, and/or phlebotomists to include workload assignments, training, resolution of technical problems, staffing, scheduling, counseling, and other disciplinary measures.
Orders supplies, maintains, and reviews collection equipment and technology, and maintains workload statistical data.
Ensures appropriate communication with other shift supervisors, the Phlebotomy Education Supervisor, and Clinical Support Manager to ensure expected levels of skill and technical expertise are available in all areas and on all shifts.
Education, Training, and ExperienceMust be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university to include minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science, including at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology, 5 quarter hours of math.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a Hospital laboratory and/or at least 2 years in supervisory capacity preferred.
Other Job Requirements, Licenses, CertificationsRegistration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, AAB (AAB with 15yrs.
experience), NCA, HHS certification or equivalent.
If registry eligible all newly hired technical staff must pass an approved certification exam within twelve (12) months of placement in this occupational classification.
Salary:
$54 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
