This full-time position is located at GMC Main Campus in Milledgeville, GA.
The AVP Auxiliary Services is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the Food Service, Bookstore (including E-Commerce Bookstore), and Property/Motorpool departments of Georgia Military College.
The AVP Auxiliary Services will assist the VP Auxiliary in all aspects of Auxiliary Services including their departments of direct oversight in addition to Maintenance, Custodial, Grounds, and Shipping & Receiving/Mailroom departments.
The AVP is primarily responsible for operations, program management, and personnel management including system & software management expertise for all Auxiliary Services databases and application programs.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist Auxiliary Managers in the planning and coordination of auxiliary operations/support for routine, special, and emergent events-all areas Provide software development and system management support for all Auxiliary application programs and databases.
These systems include but are not limited to, Atrium and Meal Plan Portal, FMX, Niagara Facility Automation Software, and miscellaneous database applications.
Plan, budget, and oversee the execution of all auxiliary projects including direct involvement in the oversight of state-funded campus projects.
Departmental Administration to include payroll tracking, reviews, and approvals; oversight of hiring, discipline, and termination paperwork; job/position reviews, sick time incentive/award programs; employee training; and environmental and safety compliance.
Serves as the Campus Access Control System Administrator along with the Campus Police Chief and oversees the Access Control Systems Committee.
Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

QualificationsEducationRequired:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field.
Preferred:
Master's degreeExperienceRequired:
Experience in auxiliary services, facilities management, or related roles Demonstrated experience in budget development, financial management, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of facility maintenance, custodial operations, groundskeeping, vehicle fleet management.
Familiarity with food service operations, bookstore management, and shipping/receiving/mail room processes is desirable.
Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and industry standards.
Preferred:

years progressive experience in auxiliary services, facilities management, or related roles retired Military SkillsRequired:
Proficient computer skills including complex databases and spreadsheets, work order/maintenance software, and payroll software.
Technical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, blue print reading, and a mechanical aptitude required.
Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
Preferred:
Database and software application development experience.
Recommended Skills Access Controls Administration Automation Blueprinting Business Administration Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
